I've been looking forward to playing this one, and it was really really good! The music was very nice, the art was awesome, and the gameplay was really fun. Like other people have said, the controls are a bit hard to get used to. Most people are used to jumping with space, so making jump W and space dash was challenging to get the hang of. The direction the bombs got thrown in felt a bit inconsistent sometimes - i'd try to throw them up, so that I could hit two at once with the ultradash, but often times one of them would go to the right. I think there's a way to cancel the dash, as I saw you do it in the video pitch, but that wasn't explained in the tutorial, and I wasn't able to use it in my playthrough. I think the designs of the bosses were all very cool. The first boss was very simple and easy, just letting me get used to the controls, which was nice. However, when I died to it, it put me back at the start of the seemingly unskippable tutorial, which wassn't great. I loved the visual design of the second boss, and the attack where you have to dash through the specific part of the attack was cool. It was pretty easy, but i loved the design. The third boss was really awesome. I loved how, instead of attacking the boss directly, you're forced to engage with the dash to break projectiles mechanic. I think this boss was definitely the hardest, just due to the amount of projectiles that you couldn't dash through. I think it would have been easier if I had realized you could cancel the dash. The fourth boss was really fun too, I love how it starts seeming incredibly easy, and then you slowly introduce new variables to the enviornment that make it more challenging, building off of the same attack rather than making more. Also, the game didn't scale up when I went to fullscreen unfortunately, not a big deal but it would have been nice if it had. I also think you're supposed to have an exe file in submissions for this jam, which I don't believe you had. Overall though, really really fun game, great work!! I'd love to see an updated version of this with more content and smoother controls later on as well.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it! I'm working on an updated version, and the first thing i'm adding is a control revamp and custom keybinds, since im incapable of designing a human-compatible control scheme of course. I also initially planned a smaller (skippable) tutorial before each level which explained mechanics that would be useful for the level (dash cancel is spacebar btw), but i ended up cramming it in last minute. Im adding another boss as well.

Hell yeah! Can't wait to play the updated version ^^
