I’ve done some extensive testing on this and would like to clarify the situation regarding BigDaddyHurt’s “dinner” event.

What is confirmed:

  • The dialogue where BigDaddyHurt says “Let me make it up to you. How about dinner sometime?” does exist.
  • This line appears during a specific interaction (when attempting to visit him and he is unavailable due to the gallery incident).
  • This dialogue is not repeated filler — it is a one-time event per playthrough.

What I tested:

  • Progressed the game up to around Day 50
  • Nearly completed the Revolutionary Group storyline
  • Repeatedly attempted to visit/call BigDaddyHurt after triggering the dinner dialogue
  • Tested progression with and without certain choices (including the “Join us” email path)

Current findings:

  • There is no observable follow-up event where the player actually goes to dinner with BigDaddyHurt in normal gameplay progression.
  • The dinner dialogue does not appear to trigger any further scenes, calls, or events afterward.

About community confusion:

Some players may believe they have seen this “dinner scene”, but this is likely due to confusion with other events, such as:

  • The Art Gallery date(s) with Jun, where BigDaddyHurt is present, and it is the main trigger of the dinner dialogue
  • A later restaurant meeting with the Admin in the Revolutionary storyline

These scenes can be misremembered as a “dinner with BigDaddyHurt”, especially since the actual dinner dialogue is short and has no visible continuation.

  About developer information:

The developer has stated that:

  • The event does exist
  • It is not considered bugged
  • It may be tied to the “BDH Secret Epilogue”

Conclusion / Current understanding:

  • The dinner invitation dialogue is real and confirmed
  • However, the actual dinner scene is not accessible through standard progression (as tested so far)
  • It is likely that:
    • The event is tied to hidden or very specific conditions, or
    • It exists in later / newer content (e.g., version 0.95 / 0.96), possibly related to a secret or endgame path

At this point, there is no confirmed method to trigger the actual dinner scene in a normal playthrough.
