Nice update, I like the addition of a pistol start script.

In regards to the previous comment I made, you often had to two-shot imps to kill them, as opposed to the one-shot of vanilla Doom.

I should probably mention though: It takes three regular shots to kill a Pinky Demon, even at close range. Slugshots however, you only need two, regardless of range.

I get you can just melee them now (since melee seems to be buffed?) but still, is this intentional? Maybe slugs need a slight nerf, like maybe they do more damage to further away targets? Or should the primary fire be two-shotting the Pink-Demons like in vanilla? I don't know...

(NOTE: I was just playing and I hit a Pinky with two nearly point-blank shotgun shots, but it only died when an Imp fireball struck it in the back immediately afterwards. Seems like it only leaves them with one hit point or something.)

The shotgun does a max damage of 70. It's the average possible damage for the Shotgun but it means you can't deal the maximum damage that would be possible in vanilla Doom, hence being able to kill Pinkies in two hits.

I'll add something to it to put it on a closer level to the Slug altfire.

You know, I've used the Slug altfire so much I was wondering if it needed to be nerfed. I've even found myself using it point blank, since it's so much more reliable than the primary fire...

I'll change its behaviour for the next update. I like it being strong as is, but it should not be rendering the primary fire obsolete in close range, so I'll change that.

If it was my decision, I'd suggest the slugshot take longer between shots. Like, maybe the pump takes longer, or it has a cooldown or something? That would make the slugshot much worse if an enemy is up close, but it would still work against distant enemies, especially if you can quickly get behind cover while it recharges.

(Also I like how it one-shots every hitscanner, so I wouldn't change that)

Still, it's up to you. I'm not the one programming this.

EDIT: OH WAIT YOU UPDATED IT AND I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE.
