Regarding Discord, I stand by what I said; there's a problem: itch.io doesn't send notifications about these update reports, you need to access the site frequently to stay informed, and there's also the issue of reach—without notifications, most people may not even know that a sequel is in development, these update reports don't reach all players.
Few people are responding because the messages aren't reaching everyone; only those who check frequently are able to see the updates.
I was thinking of a solution for this when I suggested Discord.
Not to mention that Discord is the best option for communicating with fans and growing your fanbase.
