Super fun!

First off, this is super fun! The juice is really good and the direction is excellent. Progress feels solid, the upgrades are cool, and I loved the overall concept.

A few points:

  • Bug: There’s a bug on the upgrade screen—if you’re zoomed in, you can’t scroll up to see the upgrades at the very edge.
  • Visibility: Once I’m fully upgraded with tons of attacks going off, it’s hard to keep track of where my mouse cursor is.
  • Clarity: I didn't quite get the point of my levels other than getting swords, and I wasn't sure if the swords do anything besides extra damage.

Suggestions:

  • Shop: A shop would be a great addition. You could buy swords there with different attack patterns and unique effects.
  • Mechanics: Since the mouse is our only input, it would be cool to have "magic attacks" triggered by drawing shapes with the cursor—similar to how trick systems work in skating games. (I would really research the mouse and what you can do with it.)
  • Skill & Challenge: Right now, I’m just clicking like crazy all over the screen and enjoying the pure satisfaction of wiping everyone out. It’s great and really fun, but for long-term engagement, I think it needs more challenge and more skill base gameplay.

Another point for the first enemy, if he doesn't attack me back why he have weapons? Food for thought lol.

About the Shop&Mechanics - it sure can be very good, I just need to be careful with scope creep, this is a small playtest after all, but I will think about it!

for the levels and sword, it was a quick way to give the player a progression of new enemies + cursor AOE gets bigger + higher base dmg + crit + max enemies hit in single click is increased.
