I use AI only to generate basic textures (for example, a top-down photo of a spider).
After that, all textures are layered and refined manually. The model itself, the rig, and the animation were created by me without using AI.
Can you remake the texture from scratch without AI? Most game devs don't wanna put AI stuff in their game, because if they put the game on Steam or Itch they need to disclose that they have AI art in their game, which is a very bad look
