OBBBSEEESSSSED.
Immediately upon opening, I texted my friend to gush about the art style - it looks like felt and cardboard and embroidery and it's just absolutely brilliant in this narrative. ^^ ((EDIT: I said "PARALLAX???" out loud while playing HAHA. It's such a neat little addition!))
The writing is fantastically descriptive, incredibly engaging, and a treat to read // play!
I was kind of prepared to hate Ashley, I thought she was gonna be very cliquey, but I am in love with her! She feels like the perfect person who has no judgement and wants to help MC out of their shell; she even tried to placate MC when Tyler was being an unintentional asshat T--T.
I deeply relate to the self-bound isolation from people (and having a stuffed animal as an adult, lolol) and I just am truly infatuated with the characterization and depiction.
I fear when you give me a choice between Foks and Kian I will be unable to choose!! Kian seems to be reserved to a very calculated degree, I am curious to see how it plays out with future interactions - especially if MC even brings up the now-real Foks. The fact that Foks leans in and like ,, enjoys the pain by the hands of MC ((presumably because they also then fix him and tend to him)) is fascinating. I CAN'T CHOOOOSE.
Much, much love! Super excited to see how this progresses! I found your VN off TikTok and I am beyond glad I did! <3
