did you play desktop or web build? I was able to test it on the web build by picking the wandering angel, starting a new game then saving and quitting to main menu and starting another character.
I’m playing on my Mac.
it may be due to the fact that you are on mac... not entirely sure since i cant test that.
Specifically on my Google Chrome browser.
