I looked back over my gameplay of Black Castle 1 and this is definitely a major improvement. I enjoyed 1 but 2 is more polished. The music is excellent and the platforming and enemy placement feels more intuitive. I liked the secret area in Stage 2, a nod to Super Mario Bros perhaps? Overall, a solid homebrew and highly recommended!
