Google login's broken.

Seems like it's trying to link the browser to something in someone's Dropbox public folder, which was deprecated a LONG time ago.

When I tried to sign in using Google, a new tab opened in my browser. After signing in, I was prompted to redirect and was redirected to Google's homepage.

When returning to the game via alt-tab, it was stuck on the "connecting" screen for several seconds before the game suddenly closed.

That's also what mine did. It still sat at that broken image page for a solid 15 seconds before redirecting to Google.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Unfortunately we are no longer able to support logging into Loot Rascals via Google or Facebook when running the stand alone version of Loot Rascals. You are still able to access the online functionality by loading the game via the Itch.io app which is available for free here: https://itch.io/app
