I’m not christian. whatever you read into this is your own interpretation, but please don’t impose that label on someone or their art without knowing their beliefs. i don’t see how this reads as christian.
the ending sequence is about moving on, being able to finally do that because of the kindness of the flower, the flying is unencumbered and you can both move freely without struggle…
i can understand if you are looking at this through a christian lens, but to read it as a crucifixion and absolution is grossly misunderstanding this. the person murdered was a victim and there is nothing to absolve. the entire game reinforced that she did no wrong. it’s a commentary on powerful people and how society enables them.
