I get hallucinations when reading stories, especially auditory. This book screams at you from the moment Trianon's crucified feet reach the party until he wakes up in Oenone's arms, a solid third of the book. I read serious weakness for the first time last year and it warped me so bodily that I feel like I see all art first through the lens I found in this text. i wish i could properly say to the author what it made me feel. someday i will spend months and months painting something very beautiful and i will destroy it utterly. and maybe that will do (thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you)
