It’s been only 12 days since the 1.1 beta, but we’re already at 69 donwloads across all versions and nearly 200 versions further in with the development.
A lot of work has gone into stability, input support, overall responsiveness and I’m hoping to push the next public build in few days once everything is fully tested and hardened.
Since 1.1 beta, I’ve added:
-
MIDI Learn
-
Bluetooth keyboard support with verifed low latency!
-
Steam Deck controls and sensors
-
Gamepad support and sensors
-
Full MIDI pad / RockJam 25 support
-
Much faster loading times - still working on this=)
-
DAW grade architecture
A big part of that last point came from reworking the underlying UI/grid architecture so DAWG now keeps its tab/grid scaffolding alive instead of constantly rebuilding it.
That means less waiting, better scheduling, smoother tab switching and much more solid foundation for future updates.
Lots of invisible work, but the kind that makes the whole app feel better.
If all goes well, new build is coming soon.
