You can use any version of the engine, with any extensions or changes made to the engine that you want. 👍
However, this is an unofficial build of GDevelop not made (Or supported) by the GDevelop team, and so using it could expose you to some serious risks. The most important thing is that we can't guarantee it's free of malware. But it also may contain unfinished features, be incompatible with future official versions of the engine, and will not receive support/bug fixes from us.
If you're looking for more 3D features that work with the current version of the engine, I'd suggest checking out Pandako's advanced 3D features extension. (https://pandako.itch.io/a3f) You can get it from the experimental extension list in the engine and use it with the latest stable version of GDevelop, or download the latest version from Pandako through their page on itch.
