Really liked this one. The design was minimal and elegant. Appreciate how the different monster types synergize with each other, e.g. spider building up tension while the crawler guy approaches. Played it through to the finish even though it was scary and I kept dying lol. Doing 3D my default thought is to make everything continuous, but the controls here are discretized (steps instead of continuous motion) in way that makes your design feel come through and feel more deliberate.

Thank you for this detailed feedback. Im glad to hear that you did finish the game. I have many experience in developing 2d games and that's probably why this game turned out to be 2D. First system that I added was mapGeneration, where every entity(hideout and monsters) lives on a single INTEGER index and from that point game started to become more 2D. Its interesting to hear another opinion from people with different experiences :) Thanks for sharing it
