It's impressive that you managed to develop this in 16 hours, I usually bare even get to the barebones of the gameplay in that time. My favourite part was the main menu, with the animations and everything.
Some notes that I took:
- I was able to progress on two items at the same time, not sure if it's intentional or not.
- I expected the interaction with the escape area to be similar as stealing items (get near, press and maybe hold a key). I didn't realize I had to use the mouse because I didn't have to before.
- Also, when I clicked on the escape button, I got busted even though the enemy wasn't even nearby. Tried to escape multiple times, but it always said Busted for some reason.
- Then while on the Busted screen I was typing this comment, and somehow I got busted again without even navigating away from that screen. I know it's a different one because the money lost amount changed.
- Some more indication of the enemy's line of sight, danger zone or however we call it, would be useful, because I had no idea where to go, sometimes it walked right past me, other times it caught me from afar.
