loved this dearly. i had a good bit of fun for all endings. i like the lighthearted dynamic between cain and rafael. these were my live thoughts mid playing ?:

really love the typically friendly neighborhood music theme and colors. dice rolls are one of my favorite aspects of rpg games .. ive never played a ttrpg despite wanting to so this is the closest thing. i like the more open-world experience akin to pokemon esque games (guy whos only ever played gameboy pokemon). i expected the tonal shift but the immediate grayscale gun in contrast to everything else was funny. majorly like the gifting feature and i almost checked back to see if there was something like an sdv wiki to know what to gift them ... finding a character almost fully accurately having my rare legal name is crazy but i wont say who. i lost myself in the story and exploring a bit so i didnt get to write much of my thoughts. i believe the music to signify tension or climax in the rifle scene was also used in some of the other games so it really hits home to hear all of a sudden. i have to say the name choices always feel fitting. eurydice shortened to eury feels cute and casual even if she doesnt parallel the namesake. or does she ? the religious names like cain and monday being the day after sunday feel relevant. michel and rafael are also incredibly fitting for the setting as well. i keep mentioning pokemon because im not well versed in games but the idea of a similar world and mechanics but the monsters being humanoid unfamiliar threats is intriguing. scary things surrounding an otherwise cozy town but with equally strange residents is a fun trope(?) to play with. the silent protag classic feels fitting here. i found the hair and cloth in the flowers which makes sense with michel's overall mystery in character comparable to monday's even if shes a resident. im immediately missing eury's extremely loud presence as i know shes in the flowers, or i think so. i already thought the one medicinal facility being vacant was weird as i think out of every profession amongst the residents (that are mostly service workers or similar), a doctor would rival a priest's intentions the most. eury's little flower makes me sad. a hidden presence of care outside of the town's strangeness is sad. i like that they have their own surprising hobbies in their rooms. the law books make sense for eurydice somehow, or i just associate lawyers with her personality. or it may be for research. her being taken out next tracks with the amount of power she has with the shop materials even outside of her seeking personality. the sight of the night scared me for a moment as i keep sleeping in the day. i still wonder who's locking themselves out. i had eury at 4 hearts prior to this so its too tragic i couldnt even interact with her much.  the amount of paranoia itd give you to know for a fact that youre a project is crazy. love harvesting the ferns. why does cain's room look so much better than everyone else's lol. i got game over LOL maybe its the maxed out hearts from eury over anyone else. flowers are interesting considering the florist is the only other mysterious resident. the music is so cute .. i never discovered who the three other people were in the post office papers for the hearts. i do wonder if the monsters(?) on fours were past residents after the flower ordeals. still eludes me. nonaginta (latin cardinal # for 90) is curious but i still do not know the relevance of why that name specifically. maybe the other towns are named similarly and its concerningly limitless lol just throwing whatever out there. the dialogue box for interacting with the telephone is the most melancholic to me. since the game appears unfinished in the routes as yet ill just focus on cain now instead of pushing it to save him for last LOL. the ex-girlfriend from the city ordeal also seems relevant in relation to all the flowers. i dont quite know what gift actually appeals to monday since it seems like his heart never changes no matter gift (to me, so far). gifting michel is a little easier with whatever ferns and quills and berries i have. energy drinks on cain is good, not sure what else. the immediate continuation of the upbeat music a bit after waking up post-gunshot is funny. the fact that rafael dreams of the sea after the gunshot while michel keeps painting the sea seems like something. the title already makes me think of a post/afterlife ordeal which has its connections to floating in the sea but im unsure. michel's dialogue about the flowers needing more nutrition and the flowers seeming healthier after eury's burial makes sense in retrospect lol oops. cain at lvl 15 is crazy. sorry i can only say crazy and funny as my descriptors. may be his amount of years or less in the town. its funny how lockpicking every door and coming inside even the post office one with cain following behind doesnt make him say anything lol. i almost had enough money for the necklace (70+ g) so i could see the potential dialogue from cain or something but never quite got it. nevermind i only succeeded in the no option for cain. their photograph together is cute ... rafael as the true senior postman makes sense. so cute. finally seeing rafael's fullbody sprite outside of the smile from the menu wow wow wow. the pouting ouwhhh. their doting dynamic shines so much. not the fucking comedic music. rafael does look like he doesnt smile as much as he tries to now this is killing me. THE BED SHARIFN HEEEELP. his obvious tsundere-esque personality is so good. the way theyre both frowners is really great. the reprisal theme music wow....... i was right about the town naming system and afterlife ordeal. very very fun. them being prioritized more as the couriers from loved ones. the traitor and exgirlfriend letters make more sense at this point. what really hinted the afterlife thing to me was actually michel's letter as i know how it feels to send letters of admiration and respect to deceased beloved artists myself. the idea of rafael and cain having no one :( i suppose you could partially attribute it to them being notoriously perpetually frowning ? they might not have family and/or people see them as harder to get along with. ahhhhhh i was right on for eurydice being a lawyer wow. shes so much like one even with just the penchant for plaid clothing and hunting. rafael nio having the backstory literally rooted in nosiness is so funny. ohhhhh i love them all. cain does seem like a standoffish black sheep in a cruel situation. ill be forever curious of monday and especially michel's background as michel was my very first initial favorite. the effect of '+5 he likes you' ohhhhh my god. i couldve gotten moreeee. CRITICAL FAILURE HEEEEEELP . the cutscene is cute at the very least. the first early game over getting cain to move out early might mean he had just enough to check it out for himself or he moved on ? both are saddening. i got a success this time :) his little Good Job is insane. really does seem like the system is extremely malfunctional with the double dead people and disfigured ones. the music for them is cute. oh theyre such a darling dynamic. i still have so many questions left unanswered but this was a sweet one ...... i dont think i could try for the other ending now but i loved the good ending for cain. i do still wonder about the shut-in and if the grey letter was for them. charming game as always
