Uhhm... So the help command lists "instruction", which doesn't work. The correct command seems to be "instructions".
Game certainly looks nice and plays rather well. The sound is a bit disturbing to the ears (had to mute the browser tab, as there's no settings menu). And the Chromatic Aberration effect is a bit too heavy (text is hardly readable). Might be due to screen resolution.
Ah, that’s a misspell on my part with the instructions command! The sound sound can get annoying but I couldn’t decide on any other sfx available to me, wish I had time to add a settings menu but it simply is how jams go. I am curious because on my end the aberration is not that distracting. Would you say it’s really unbearable? If so I will request to make that change because reading is most of the game lol. Anyways thanks for your feedback!
I see, I see :) You should definitely tune down that effect. With some phrases I really have to make an effort to read anything at all as they phase into each other. Especially with the background wobble effect layering on top of the UI.
For some reason can't attach an image, but I'm playing on a 4k monitor in fullscreen. When I make the window smaller it works out fine. So definitely screen res dependendant. Make it relative maybe?
Unfortunately that’s not considered game breaking I believe so they won’t let me change it most likely (plus they already kindly let me fix a bug with a command not so long ago so I know just how busy they are getting) but I will look into it for any versions after the jam! (Note: the game is always running on native but the shader has a resolution parameter for pixelation but I have it off though?) Anyways I really appreciate your feedback and I will work even harder for the next jam :)
