Good game!
The game fits the overall theme, although it needs a bit of time to really get into. I read that you made it in 'chaos', but I think it is nice entry still!
Personally I like pixel art very much, but I prefer consistent pixel sizes if it is used. Overall the art style works, but assets used did not feel like they belong together. The UI is a chapter by its own. For the game it does the job, for design purposes it does not fit very well.
Music fits the game very much, although some more SFX variations would be nice I think.
Game play is very simple, the game itself lives from the stories written Personally I don't like this kind of game just reading bunch of things and need to decide what to do eventually...but it works and, again, this is just something personal!
Overall: Nice entry.
