All right, that is some interesting texture choice, I like the vibe you're going for, I like the sound design you made, although the main issue is what you tried to innovate also is the mix, the ambiance and most sound design mixed together with the musical elements is not working in the mix, it's extremely muddy very fast, the bass as some inconsistencies with the melody also at some points. Also sometimes it's a question of good plugins, I feel like the piano is really robotic and MIDI, there is a tons of awesome great free piano VST out there. The percs same for the mix, I'm sure they sound great but they are very low in the mix burried by everything else. A good sense of mix and arrangement in your track and I'm sure it will sound great !
