Thank you Briarios! In addition to my other comment, I'm just so grateful for these bug reports, which are going to save so many issues later on (a stitch in time as they say). Not to mention frustration for other players. Just to let you know, this is the last of the bugs I have for today and I have managed to address all the previous ones, so hopefully I can keep on a roll here and have it sorted for the 0.3.3 release, coming very shortly. thanks!!

Hey Tim! Once again, thanks for the swift replies and fixes. Though sadly game is still bricked - can't move anywhere due to the "lag". I clicked to move 5 tiles.  After finishing this message and about to post it, I've taken... one step.
Any minimum PC specs for this game? I hope my 5090 can handle it :P
Please let me know if you just prefer I stop writing here. Feels like I'm on the edge of being more annoying than helpful.

Hey! Oh no, I'm sorry to hear you've still got this issue. It's weird that nobody else has reported any lag issues, or at least not at the severity you've had to endure. I had another person (thesquirrel123) who actually said they were surprised the game ran on their old machine! I wonder if doing a hard reset might help it if you're on browser? I did some pretty hefty optimisation passes on the game specifically addressing your intel about where you were experiencing it. Even to the point of like full-on defensive programming for managing rendering, cache, etc.

I just want to say this is definitely not annoying at all - the only thing that's frustrating is you not being able to enjoy the world of the game! If you could please provide any further info specifically about your machine and what you're playing on (which platform etc), that would be helpful. If you can locate a save file then feel free to drop me a link to it, if that's not too much trouble. But I totally understand if you're just over it at this point. Honestly, though, I will pull out all the stops to figure this out. I really want to ensure that anyone can play it, and especially those folks running 5090s!

Honestly no idea what caused it. I just killed the current run and started over, not having this issue at the moment atleast.

Hey Briarios, I've burned the midnight oil to get a performance patch done. Thanks for your bug reports and patience. Please give this a whirl and sorry again to hear these issues! https://timothyjgraham.itch.io/roguefort/devlog/1467424/roguefort-v035-performan...
