finished the final route yesterday while sick and it's been a very nice companion for this sort of state; and it did make my brain buzz a little about THEORY and GAME STUDIES, tbh, bc i always feel annoyed that discussions of immersion in games focus on AAA games so much, and not enough on things like this - where you're interacting with the computer to simulate... interacting with a computer??? really good stuff ANYWAY the writing is very charming and portrays writing quirks in chat in ways that are believable, the characters are interesting and wormed their way into my heart, the art is cute, and the voice acting is great. the discord-like gimmick is SOOO well done i am really impressed!!!
i liked the romances, tho i thiiiiiiink i would like them even more if the story was signaled to take a little bit more time, the depth of some of it feels a bit off for just a week of online chatting at times, but i didn't mind too much. i think my fav route is xyx's, but there are no bad ones, really, just the question of what resonates with you as a reader-player personally
the final twist reads... interesting today compared to the day of the game's release i would assume, but overall, yeah!!! it's definitely worth the hype, i enjoyed it immensely
