Listen, I was wondering what would happen if the events of Maeve's Academy took place in the world of the Vangers.

The main character would be one of the many Vangers, the only *creatures* capable of traveling through destroyed worlds and binding escaves.  The main character's difference from the others would be that he had started one of the ancient artifacts.  (For example, "The Line Dancer" or "The Mechanical Messiah")

Canonically, everything would have started on Fostral, the world of the Elipods (let's assume they're the equivalent of witches). They're prone to poetry, ethereality, and cultural development. The Elipods even mention that their eskayvash has schools, but just like in the game, our vanger would never have gone to school. And yes, they're the ones who possess most of the fascinating devices of the long-gone human civilization (artifacts). I could describe the romance that would be there, but I don't think you'd enjoy the description of caterpillar orgies with a side effect of one of the participants being reincarnated.

After some time, Vanger earned a key to a portal to Glorx, the world of the Biburats (with a bit of a stretch, but let's imagine them as the equivalent of elves).  The Biburats are warlike, military-minded, and incredibly bureaucratic, rejecting love.  In short, it's a hell that's half-flooded with acid and half-covered with military outposts. That's where our vanger would have died. And if he didn't die, he would have been enslaved. And if he wasn't enslaved, he would have been used as a sports equipment or a heroin target. In short, the fate of someone who wasn't born on Glossary wasn't bright. But let's say he stole documents from another dead vanger, or rose from slave to agent. In that case, he would have received a key to the next world.

Necros, the final world where our vanger could experience life. The Cicses who live here (it seems to me that the analogy with demons is suitable in the field), and they are absolute crazy and mad tightly beaten drug addicts, from the mention of substances that any other kind of life almost faints. But yes, they are the most female-like creatures, and they call vangers their husbands, so romance is quite possible.

And I sincerely hope that at this point vanger stopped his adventure, because then there will be no hope or understanding of what is happening for him anymore.
