Lowkey, I’d love to run a Kickstarter and expand the game with even more content (plus I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on some CA goodies too XD esp since we have so many cool strickers in our gamedev server).
The main issue is that I’m currently a student, so I wouldn’t really be able to keep up with all the legal and administrative work that comes with running a Kickstarter. More importantly, the country I’m in right now doesn’t support creators launching campaigns (and my home country isn’t an option either since it's in the middle of a war rn + under US sanctions).
SOOOO my hands are tied LOL but at least, we can spread the CA word~ I'm personally happy with just having people play the game and sharing their thoughts <3
Patreon and ko-fi are good alternatives if you don't want a grand Kickstarter campaign.
iirc both platforms have monthly as well as one-time payment tiers, you can also set up shop to sell some predetermined items like extra goodies and stuff.
Since you're probably busy, it's best to not promise any monthly content and go with the one-time option.
edit, there's also buymeacoffee which works the same way, allowing you to earn some tips.
