waiting for this!
I played it. I have questions. Like what's the point of the game? If we try to strip off everything but game design, the game sounds like: player must type letters that comes from top of the screen until by some random chance it will be the correct letter. Don't you see a problem here? The only thing player can and designed to do is to type letters, that do not even make him closer to winning most of the time. Deciphering in fallout 4 or cyberpunk 2077 makes player think more. From audio and visual standpoint the game is quite nice and appealing. My main advice is to try writing down the basic nature of what game is about and what player will do.
hey Mefrius, thx for playing again and for the honest feedback! glad u liked the visuals and audio.
you’re right about the gameplay. it started as small coding tests while I was studying cybersecurity, then I just polished it up for my portfolio. so yeah, it’s not super a puzzle-heavy like Fallout or Cyberpunk (but I’ll def look into it!).
your point about focusing on the core loop is solid, I’ll keep that in mind for future games. really appreciate you taking the time to share! <3
