Man, that was great! The sprites and music were on point, the gameplay loop was tight, and there was even a warmup room to get comfortable with the controls! Bonus shoutout to all the little things (from highscores persisting on reloading the browser, to the short and tasteful splash screen) which elevated the game just that little bit further.
For raw fun this was one of the best entries I've played, and I can't think of any feedback that isn't nitpicky. Bloody excellent work!
Also apologies to Smokey the bear, but repeatedly setting fire to and extinguishing a patch of forest was the most effective method I could find to rake in that sweet firefighter cred. The forest may have burned down, but it was worth it for that sweet high score.
