After thinking about it for a while, I thought it would be a good idea to refine the helicopter sound and add landmarks to different areas to make them more recognizable, or at least an identifier at the bottom of the screen like when you entered a new area in the classic GTA games. The idea behind refining the helicopter sound would be so the player can hear where it's coming from. I'll definitely share my thoughts on it when it doesn't work. If it doesn't, I might opt for a compass or a map, but without indicating the exact location, perhaps more like radios for potential help. I also had some issues with running over enemies; I had mapped it so that at a certain speed you could just drive right through them without a problem, but I forgot. I've been optimizing the game these past few days and I've gained about 20 extra fps.
