Great entry for a first ever game! First it as quite complicated getting into it, as I missed an introduction what to do and wthat to achieve. I think it is confusing that yoou write "can you escape the grid" but with incresing the level you never actually escape anything (?) I think I get the interpretation regarding the theme, as you never can actually save all drone (?) but it also does not feel like its needed. The game loop is clear, yet quite repetitive very early in game play. Music and SFX are fitting well.I ike the minimalistic art style very much although I don't quite understood the grid in here. A grid based movement or related things would fit better think.
Overall quite a good entry for this jam!
