Orsoniks i have a proposal for you

YOU: build casualties unknown for Linux

and I'LL try to see if i can get Curseforge to work with it

this is a little cliche but I have been playing casualties: unknown since early last year and I've heard that that's around when it was released, i love the game and i have been using Wine to run it so far. this has come with some minor problems but none that have stopped me playing the game, if you cant make a Linux build for whatever reason, could you please tell me why so I may have some peace in my heart

I'm no tech god but I'm pretty handy and I'd love to look into any support Curseforge has for it in my free time

Yo! You can play on Linux! Right now!!

https://scavprototype.wiki.gg/wiki/Linux

Add the game to your Steam library as a Non-Steam Game.

Right click it and go to Properties -> Compatibility and select Proton 10.0-4.

I'm on Ubuntu 24 and it works flawlessly for me. If you have issues, try a different Proton version. Have a nice infection!

yes... proton is a steam remake of wine, which works fine, but it would be nice to have a native linux build, expecially considering there literally just a button for it in unity

mkay i checked curseforge and they have like a list of 8 games they support but i might try to look into BepInEx which is a mod loader for unity based games

I dont think he will answer any time soon, but i guess he reads most of the comments without answering if this will bring you a little bit of peace.

Also you have the older versions of this game and if you do can i ask for them? Ive been collecting em since v3.01, would be nice to have v1 and v2 as well, cause its pretty useful for me to watch progress in development to become a game dev myself. You can contact me via my discord in my profile by the way
