Gotta be honest.. that was the weakest comeback I've seen in a while. And you even said it twice..

You started it in the same way as your last comment (trying way too hard to sound condescending; probably trying to get the other person to say something report-worthy). You then go on to say something that, while technically true ('Good job! You're right, something done on purpose can't be a mistake. You've been reading your dictionary, haven't you?'), is just another accusation thrown into a pile of countless others in an attempt to harass and rush a solo dev.
Let's be honest, a good chunk of the people complaining are probably too young to truly come up with their own opinions. We all know there are people who shouldn't be here, yet still are. It's much easier for an under-age person to hop on a hate-train, when that's all they can see in the first place; comment after comment of impatience, baseless claims, and complaining. It outnumbers the good comments because haters are constantly making more and more comments. Which brings up one of the best points there is..

Why are you guys still here if you hate the dev so much? Sticking to the pages of a "bad dev" and a "scam game" for years, instead or writing constructive comments/reviews literally anywhere else. I've seen some of the same names over and over again, all making the same comment 10 different times, just worded a bit differently (Or in your case, not even trying to change it. I mean.. dang. It's just copy/paste at this point). You all are saying "the dev doesn't do anything! They aren't making any changes or updates", but that's what I've seen in all of these comments instead; the same, annoying, overly repeated crap every. single. time.
And people think Reddit is bad.

I rarely comment on anything, but sometimes the arrogance is something I don't want to deal with. Now, I'm gonna go back to my relaxing night of drinking coffee and playing video games (this one included). I hope everyone here- you, the haters, the fans, and especially the dev- have a nice night! : )

To be fair, I've resorted to copy/paste a few times... especially when I see the same thing (like you) over and over. Sometimes they create burner profiles so they can be particularly nasty with their accusations, and not worry about getting reported... creative, but easy to spot. Clowns like this feel like they're entitled to the work... didn't pay a dime, didn't contribute, but somehow feel like they've been 'scammed'... I don't feel the need to waste the energy to explain any differently, because the reality hasn't changed: there is no scam. No Grift. No rip-off. Honestly, I halfway believe at this point that it's other, minor devs that are angry/jealous that this game still sits comfortably in the top 20 AVNs on Itch.io ... and they're jealous. It really is better than some of the stuff you pay for on Steam, even unfinished. Thank you for stepping up and defending against this kind of cyber bullying. Your comment hits the nail on the head. I hope you enjoyed your coffee, and game night! Cheers!

(1 edit)

You keep saying 'scam'... like the author of this game is charging anyone a single dime to download this game, which is already larger than some paid games on Steam... time to enlighten you whiners again, it would seem...

This is NOT what is going on. The product is free. You're bashing a dev that is providing a FREE PRODUCT because he hasn't finished it yet. Right. You're out here demanding something you didn't even purchase ... do you even see what you're typing?

If you don't like it here, scroll on. Being a tool and getting offended over something on the internet you aren't obligated to read or pay for is like going out of your way to step in a pile of dogshit just so you can beat your dog for making the pile.

Feel free to go elsewhere.
