I doubt that would work because the .dmg is just an installer that should be installing the same .app binary.
Did your Mac prompt you to run the demo through Rosetta initially? I don’t have a Mac – I use a virtual machine to build TDSM for macOS – so I’m not an expert.
I’ll look more into it and see if I can figure out a solution.
