Ah, I miscommunicated perhaps -- perseverance is a vanilla ED token (from magical orc) but the slime carrier uses the icon perseverance_unl, which seems to be added by Ch7. Maybe that was in seedbed at some point, but the latest version doesn't have it.
Yeah, makes sense that the forced version was a bit too disruptive.
For your "can't remember which files I added/changed" issue, I don't know how helpful this is, but here's some screenshots with the full list of differences between the unmodified Seedbed Pack and v1.13. I used WinMerge, but I'm sure there's plenty of alternatives available. ("Right only" means "new file"). This won't tell you which changes were personal testing changes and which were deliberate additions but at least you'll know what files to look in:
