That was really really awesome! I loved the different types of monsters and how they played off each other, like how quicksand you needed to run over but the worm senses you running. I also liked how the flashlight was just a flash instead of being either constantly on or off. My favorite monster was the super bright and hot light monster. That one made sense right off the bat and I had a fun time dodging behind the pillars while running over the quick sand.
The quicksand was also pretty cool programmatically, I was surprised to see it create a hole beneath the player.

I loved the game's aesthetic!
I died so many times that I became paranoid, and I feel like my mental health has aligned with the player's mental health lol
I was doing very badly at first, but I eventually figured it out as I went along. Everything was very well thought out to allow the player to understand by himself.
Top-notch game design!
Well done on this great game.
What a cool environment. Once I understood that the enemies all function differently, the game really clicked with me. Honestly, I almost would've liked more enemies lol, but this was a good amount to keep the tension of the game. Very spooky, great enemy designs. What more can you ask for in a jam game :) Also, the first time the worm killed me it really spooked me, good job lol
I REALLY tried to go through with this game.
But that fucker that jumped from the roof after the tunnel to eat me ?
I almost had a heart attack ;-;
Joking aside : the fondation of the game is great :D It's so cool that you got to make so many entities ! I would consider making a Windows build for better stability (WebGL is always a hassle between browers/computers), but apart from that I had a good time :)) !
Ahaahah thanks for playing! You can use flashlight to kill Drooly “fucker” ;D
Here hints about the enemies:
Worm — senses vibration, stalks your every step
Drooly — hangs from the ceiling, fears the light
Quicksand — slowly drags you into oblivion
Madness — your sanity fades with every step, stay in the light
This game visual is really well made. the environment model look simple but artistically good looking . the beginning remind me of Halo CE flood level and the end the big globe remind me of halo control room lol . lighting is really good and the little details like lens flare when you look at a bright screen is just perfect. the big white lamp with with timing is really clever and really pretty . sound design on that lamp is some thing to fall in love for . just a extra idea, the flash mechanics would have been is really good idea for sudden jumps scare timed with a flash light. Game ran smooth for me but got bit laggy every time I flash the light but conserving it's a web version can't complain really. game is hard with out the instruction ( I had to you read your comment ) but fun once you figure out. I had blast but unfortunately game crash for me after showing the text "UNIT 733 - Terminated" on the big globe room. honestly I am looking for more of this game. cheers !
We are in a clone production lab. At the heart of the complex is the identity erasure machine “Core”, the lower we go, the less we become ourselves. The core finally erases us completely and we become part of the complex. The machine recognizes us. The question here is whether we have always been a Unit of the complex, or have become a new part of it.
Great art great setting! and the fact you optimised so well for web great work!
I did my best to play it, but html5 games are always laggy for me so it was very difficult. seemed like a cool game though. I got up the stairs to some room where there was lightning strikes on the pillars, but couldnt find my way afterwards. heard a heartbeat get louder and it started me over but im not sure what happened lol!
Thanks for the game!
3080ti and omg i just found it it's because my browser didn't have hardware acceleration turned on lol!!! im sorry man. i've never played html5 versions of games before so i didnt understand. i thought it was because 3d games couldnt run in browsers. i played about 4 in a row and they were all laggy.
my fault!!
