Not sure if it's a bug, but each piece seems really tricky to grab -- you can't just click any part, but have to click all over and around it to find the right spot. Makes it almost unplayable.
Hello! Thx sm for playing my game, I'm really sorry you had that experience. What you're describing is a behavior I've never seen before though, and it's one I haven't been able to replicate myself. I'll def look into it and do my best to fix this issue, in the meantime though I'd very much appreciate any additional info you could provide.
(Update) I have found some quite strange behaviors tied to changing the resolution settings in the browser version of the game. I'm not 100% sure what the cause of this is, it isn't a behavior I've been able to replicate in the downloaded versions of Organized Chaos, but it's def something I'll be looking in to.
If this doesn't sound like your experience though I would greatly appreciate whatever additional information you might be able to provide.
Sure thing -- I'm using Firefox on Fedora Linux with NVIDIA graphics on a 4K display. It does seem to be related to screen resolution since the game behaves normally when on the page and only begins to misbehave when fullscreen. I'd try the download version but Itch.io says it's been quarantined. :(
Also forgot to mention, but the mouse cursor is glitchy too; it's the staticky rectangle in the screenshot.
Tysm for the additional information. This is much appreciated, and very valuable! I haven't been able to test Organized Chaos at resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080, and these definitely aren't issues I would have found on my own. I'll have to do some digging around to find the fix. In the meantime (ik it isn't ideal), I am glad you're able to play the game in the window, and the custom cursor can be disabled from the settings menu. The behavior in that screen shot is probably also being caused by resolution issues, though atm that's just a guess on my part.
Regarding my page being quarantined, there unfortunately isn't much I'm able to do about it rn. Organized Chaos is currently under the process of being indexed (meaning that atm it won't appear in search, and can only be accessed via my profile or directly via link). Information on itch states the verification process should only take "a few business days", but I've seen developers report the process sometimes taking months for them. I have reached out to support, but I haven't heard back from them yet.
Additionally, after downloading Organized Chaos, Windows and Mac devices will flag it with their antivirus. This is due to my program not being "code signed", which is a legal process I currently don't have the resources for unfortunately. Neither of these are particularly great optics, and I def wouldn't recommend downloading Organized Chaos if you aren't comfortable doing so, but these issues are outside of my control currently.
