This was a pretty fun game. I did also notice the enemies were far better at aiming than I was, but getting the SMG really helped with the "spray 'n pray" for a good length run. Also, being deliberate in how you choose to use cover can make or break you

Glad that you liked it! Yeah, grabbing better weapons is pretty crucial, shotgun may even be a bit OP ;) also good to hear that cover mechanic works as intended

Really cool! The combination of real aiming with turn-based action works very well. I really like how you have to close in on enemies to increase your chance of hitting, and how cover matters. I found it pretty difficult, though. It seemed like the enemies had much more accurate weapons than me. :)

Thank you! Yeah, the game is pretty difficult — I can die on level 2 if I’m not careful 😅 It’s mostly because the content is very limited and there’s no real ending, so replaying early levels is actually more fun than grinding to higher levels and eventually getting bored.

The game is weird but thats what i like about it. Makes it feel like a turn based game with real action!

Developer

I’m glad to here that!”Fast paced” turn based action was pretty much my goal with this project :)

I like the system. Mixing grid-based movement with the aiming reticule was a really novel approach.
