Hi! I'm well aware of this issue but unfortunately, I haven't yet figured out how to solve it. My coding knowledge isn't that advanced. It's definitely something I will look into at some point.
For now, I hope I can reassure you by saying that the romance points is only one aspect of unlocking a romance route, so it won't severely affect your chances. A huge part of it will also be choosing solo routes with your RO of choice.
