Something like a quest tab or a built-in guide that tells players exactly what to do next, like a babysitter for the story, is unlikely to be implemented.

The game is intentionally designed this way.
It encourages players to explore the story, discover the lore, and experience the many possible outcomes on their own.
Figuring things out, learning from past mistakes, and slowly understanding how the game works is part of the intended experience.

When players get stuck, they look for help, share discoveries, and discuss the game with others.
That’s how a community forms.
People gather together, help new players, share knowledge, and make friends along the way.
The game becomes more than just a game; it becomes something that brings people together.

The developer may add some form of in-game guide in the future, but it’s not something that should be expected anytime soon.
Features like that would most likely only be considered much later in development, when the game is closer to being fully completed.

Ah yes, that makes sense. Now, one thing, maybe later on, in future updates, there will be some kind of ending where the protagonist somehow manages to transform this dystopia... into a utopia, this would be absolute cinema ✋😮🤚 (This game was inspired by a book, wasn't it? It features a dystopia very similar to the one in the game.)
