So now mutual weight gaining is possible? While you can both become immobile can the two of you become a part of that feeding facility together?

It's possible for you & your partner to share a room at the care home, but not the facility. You can reach a situation where you're both moved to the facility, but you'll be in separate containment units with no option to communicate or see each other.
I might change this in a future update, perhaps to allow you to communicate via the TV that's in the room.
The next update will include an alternative immobility route where you & your partner can reach the maximum weight stage together whilst still at home. Also, I plan to add a set of mutual gainer personalities to the game in the 'More Personalities' update (whilst you can fatten the feeders now, they're not feedees and only want the player to get fat).
