I actually face the same problem and have no idea how to fix it hahahahaa. but I am glad you played it ! What I usually do is just spam jump to get back to the ship
lol! i didnt even notice jumping working. i use blender to make my perfect collision ramps, personally. took me forever to get collisions to work nice. good luck with your dev'ing!
