This is an absolutely stellar 3D engine you've created. I'm so impressed. While it's comfortably familiar to be surrounded by Quake-ish environments, I'm really excited see what this turns into when it finds its own path. (I did really enjoy the level you created though).

I really liked how the Doom port handled controls. I got very used to them and played through the entire game. I got good at holding the crank with just  my pointer and middle fingers so my thumb could always access the A and B buttons. The control scheme here is wild! I kinda like how weird and original it is, but not having strafing is a bit rough for me. I think the d-pad as WASD with the B button enabling vertical aiming and weapon switching might work pretty well.

The game crashed twice for me in one particular outside area. If it happens again, I can send an error log if you'd like.

Again, I'm so impressed with this. Great job.

thanks - biggest hurdle to develop further is art direction, we’ll see how this get sorted out…
