Very interesting concept and vibe! Unfortunately, it keeps crashing for me at the second level. It also gets a little tedious just walking around picking up books. It seemed like there might be monsters in later levels but I never reached them.
This bug should be fixed. Yes, there are monsters if you’re corruption is high enough when the level is generated. I hope you will give it another try.
