Really fun game!
I like the upgrades and it becomes progressively more fun, even though at the beginning it's a bit boring. Overall, it's a good game. I would probably add some music to make it even better, but personally I enjoyed this.

I completely agree with you about the beginning, balancing the early game grind during a jam is super tricky, and it definitely starts a bit too slow before the fun upgrades kick in. You're also spot on about the music! I ran out of time right before the deadline, but adding a cool soundtrack and fixing the early-game pacing are at the top of my list for a post-jam update.
