I think you’re talking about level 5. That level is meant to teach you that if you leave everything “as is,” the egg will be painted red, fall into the wrong basket, and you’ll lose.
And yeah, about the last level: even though holding some eggs while working on others first is the intended idea, I originally wanted the main way to achieve that to be placing four conveyor belts in a loop. Unfortunately, you can also place them against each other to hold the egg. I decided to leave both options available so players can figure out their own solution instead of being forced to solve the puzzle exactly the way I intended. Restricting puzzles to a single solution is a common mistake in puzzle games because it limits the player’s creativity.
