Asset Forge Delux Mac version importing a custom Collection

Hi

I have been trying to add/import a custom collection. However with the Asset Forge Delux version for Mac OS it seems to be slightly different than the  windows or Linux builds - both of which have obvious Collection folders you can place folders and items in. The Mac version only shows an Asset Forge package and when you open this (show package contents) you get five folders - Contents, Presets,Samples,Scripts and Textures.

I have tried to add a Collections folder and then a custom one and restart Asset Forge but it dosent find. I have added a Texture folder and texture  - and that works fine. Has anyone found a way around Importing  a custom collection with the Mac version?

Thank you for taking the time to read!

James

it also happend to me

If it doesn't have a Collections folder inside the Contents, you can safely create one.

In MacOS 2.5.2 version the following works: 1. Open Application folder (or folder where you have installed AssetForge app) 2. Right click AssetForge app and select "Show Package Contents" 3. Finder shows multiple folders, including Collections folder (in 2.5.2 MacOS build this is included) 4. Select Collections folder in Finder and add new folder (File->New Folder), name it for example "Custom" 5. Put .obj and .mtl files in the new Custom folder 6. Restart AssetForge 7. Custom folder appears at bottom of the dropdown list as a new category
