After I made this, I got a job making phaser games and I have been employed doing it ever since.  So, it worked out well for me.  Let me know if you have specific questions I can answer about it

Curious what made you choose it for a project like this? Compared to other engines at the time. What were the main pitfalls and benefits, did you ever do a post-mortem once the project had stopped? Would love to read one!

I have not touched it in along time but I saw the Phaser 4 notes and it looks impressive, I used Construct 3 with some JavaScript/Typescript.

I was messing around with WebRTC before I started this and I wanted to make a game with it.  As far as I know, this was the first ever p2p WebRTC  game ever made when it was first demoed in early 2015.  I chose Phaser because it was an up-and-coming engine for the browser.  I made browser games before, but with java applets.    Phaser was easy to use and surprisingly performant.  No regrets.

That’s awesome to hear, natural path it seems for you! I am actually pretty excited to see what the latest version of Phaser will offer once it is released.

Appreciate the responses, I am always soo curious about these types of projects, especially in frameworks like Phaser.
