I just finished downloading the game and it says 'cannot be opened because it if from an unidentified developer'. my mac's version is mojave btw. I don't know what to google specifically :/

Can you try right clicking on it and then selecting "open"

i just realized that I forgot to mention that it said 'cannot be opened because it if from an unidentified developer' after I opened it. but it's working perfectly so far :)
