I am glad you liked the writing, and happy you found something that spoke to you in this game.

For me, however, the amount of comments disliking polyamory content in Said the Stars - a game which has been tagged as having polyamory, and which tells you in the description it contains polyamory - is a bit baffling.

There are various games without poly content out there, and this is not one of them, because it was written by me.

Each poly person and mono person is different, as is each poly and mono relationship. That is why, yes, I wanted to make sure that the choice to cut off poly or accept it makes for two completely, pronouncedly different endings.

I am always happy when people play my games, poly or not. Perhaps it gives some new thoughts, perhaps not. That is no concern of mine.

But I don't think my games are the best match for people who think polyamory is an ick.

(Edit: fixed a brainfart)

But your games offer the option to be poly or not, right? So even if I don't like it, I still can play for the story, the characters, and the romance I can choose. And this is about many many IFs. Because if I had to choose games that didn't have poly at all, I'd be missing out a huuuuge number of games. If you created a game with no choice, just polyamory, then yeah, I'd never play it. But if I have the opportunity to play an interesting story without being forced to choose something I don't want... why not? Games are made for everyone, at least I think so. If I felt uncomfortable, I would just close the game and be done with it. But I played the game and decided to write a comment from the perspective of a monogamous person who saw good mechanics of choice and the consequences of that choice.
