I also meant no personal disrespect with my replies, but I don't bother reducing my characters to just a handful of easily tagged letters and find the focus on gender before person distasteful and your system of organization restricting. In this particular story, one character is written without any textual gender, so idk how you'd tag a character who isn't explicitly any gender in the first place. Functionally, their gender may as well be "maid" for all the difference it makes.

By the way, I clicked through. Cavemate actually doesn't specify the genders of either character beyond a pronoun. Same as in my text. Because "farmer" and "spider monster" are more important than knowing whether the spider monster is cis or not. In the same way, "princess" and "maid" are more important to understand and convey their dynamic to a prospective audience than the specifics of either party's gender.

Ultimately I don't think I'll miss having this jam project sorted into one of your boxes. Queer love is beautiful because of how it defies being sorted into boxes.

Ouch.
