Some UI elements (virtual keyboard, number pad) appear partially "off screen"

Heresphere 0.12.3, Quest 2. Whenever the Virtual Keyboard or the number pad for the settings appear, they appear way up and to the left, with a large part of them apparently outside the UI's viewport and inaccessible. Is there a way to reset / adjust the position of these elements?

I have this bug too, it started in 0.12.2.

The keyboard is permanently stuck in the top left of the screen and half the keyboard is cut off and missing. There seems to be no way to move the keyboard back to centre, thus making typing (and the app) rendered completely useless. This is a major bug.

Thanks for the info. Update v0.12.3 was a potential fix for this issue, but I guess it doesn't work. I haven't been able to replicate on my headset, so I've been guessing at potential solutions. Looks like I need to find a different work around. There's something wrong with how Unreal Engines interacts with the Quest OS when getting the UI render size. In the meantime, you can try restarting your headset. This usually fixes the issue.

By the way, are you using any third party apps that can affect the Quest resolution?

I was able to trigger the issue by using quest games optimizer to launch HereSphere. On v0.12.2, the issue is present. I tested it on v0.12.3 (the new update), and it seems to have fixed the issue for me. Are you sure you're on version 0.12.3? Go to the HereSphere main menu -> user guide -> about. It should show the version number.

Edit: Looks like there's still an issue with the web browser getting cut off when scrolling down. Seems like Quest Games Optimizer is changing the DPI, and Unreal Engine doesn't detect this change (until the headset is restarted), so the positioning of UI elements gets messed up. I'll try to find a fix for the web browser scrolling.

Yeah I was on 0.12.2 when I experienced the issue, and updating to 0.12.3 fixed it, but I wasn't sure if that was from the app reinstalling itself.

I haven't since had the issue on 0.12.3 so you're on the right track. Thanks very much for your work.

It turns out I was on v0.12.2 as well. Sorry about that. Thanks for the continued hard work on the app.

I think the latest Quest OS update (version 2.1.1034) has fixed the keyboard placement and web browser scrolling issue. It's not necessary to update to v0.12.3, unless there's another regression with a future Quest OS update.
