I've tried it for a little bit, and I really like it so far! Is there a way to make an instrument use portamento with it, though? I'm trying to make a sliding trombone sound.
Right-click the note, and select "make slide note". The next note's attack should be disabled, which you can toggle by right-clicking the note, and the note name will have a ".." in front.
